- W and M Smith began in 1981, in Mary Smith's garden shed - we quickly expanded into the family house and, having filled that, had little difficulty in overflowing into the extension built onto the garage.
- Initially, we only offered a delivery service of paper bags and wrappings, but customer interest brought about the introduction of a limited range of basic florist sundries, such as oasis.
